Types
Tensioner: pulls the strap tight around the package to the tension you want, then you close it with a sealer.
Sealer: crimps a metal seal over the two strap ends so they hold together.
PP/PET combination tool: tensions, seals and cuts in one tool — faster for daily work.
Sealless steel tool: notches the steel strap itself to lock it, so you don't pay for seals.
Stainless band tool: tensions and cuts stainless banding on poles.

When they fit
- You strap fewer than 50–100 packages a day.
- You work on sites without power or compressed air.
- You want a backup next to your main machine.
Before you buy
- The tool must match the strap exactly: width, thickness and material.
- The seal must be the same width as the strap, or it will slip under tension.
- Clean the tensioner's teeth of strap debris now and then, and put a drop of oil on the joints.
